TJ is all hands on his mission to revive his mother's restaurant (Flavors of the East) - the family's first business. Trixie gave him Jonathan - who TJ recognized as Jillian's companion way back in Korea. He also is looking for their new specialty, when one time TJ tasted something that his employees bought outside. He had no idea at first that it was Jillian's cooking, but he instantly recognized the taste.
