The story starts with a brief introduction of the growing years of Betty. Although her looks might not be that attractive, she can still manage to win competitions with her intelligent answers.
Armando (John Lloyd Cruz) won his position as President of Eco Moda by a tie-breaking vote from her girlfriend Marcela (Megan Young), sister of Armando's competitor for the position, Daniela (Ruffa Gutierrez).
In her pursuit of landing a decent job, Betty submitted a resume at Eco Moda. Patricia (Wendy Valdez) will be Betty's tough competitor for the position.
